I feel like ive paid £60 for someone else to go on holiday.
The person who took your place will have had to pay £180 the same as the others, so you haven't really paid £60 for anyone to go on holiday.
The £60 is the cost of the change of plan.
Really it should be paid by whoever changed the plan.

In reality I would suggest it is split 4 ways, so the other three give you £15 each.

Yep I agree it should be split... the other party paid 120 to me and 60 for the name change.

As you are still wanting to go on the holiday, then you are entitled to a full refund, as it is not YOU who is preventing you from going!

Do you have it in writing that this person does not want you to go?

If so, then put it in writing that you are still wanting to go on the holiday, so if they won't let you go, you are expecting a full refund of £180, and if they fail to give you this refund in full, you will take them to the small claims court.

If they don't give you it, send a "Letter Before Action" giving them 14 days to pay.

I'd take them to court, as I hate petty people like that! The two people who think you shouldn't go should pay the £60!
Should've = Should HAVE (not 'of')
Would've = Would HAVE (not 'of')

No, I am not perfect, but yes I do judge people on their use of basic English language. If you didn't know the above, then learn it! (If English is your second language, then you are forgiven!)

Is it not a bit petty to take friends and ex friends to court over £60?

Of course we don't know what the OP has done to cause the fallout. He may have nailed the guys wife for all we know!

Perhaps it would be reasonable to expect another £60 for nailing her?
You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'
