Bit late here today!
TTFTM - Congrats on the interview.
JackieO - Glad you are better today.
Been busy today; cleaned through, made a cake, been to work, mowed the lawn and generally tidied the garden. Popped to the greengrocers for some more veg. Got two lots of washing dry. I can't believe how hot and sunny it has been today. I don't think it's supposed to last though.
I'm going to have a go at making Flafels tonight using one of AGCJ' recipes. I've never eaten them before so won't know what they are supposed to be like anyway ;/ I thought I'd do chicken skewers to go with it and rice.0 -
Afternoon All
Been MIA because I have awful trouble trying to log in after I cleared my cookies.....four bloomin' days :mad::mad: still it is sorted now thank goodness.
TTFN good news about the interview, lots of positive vibes are winging their way to you x
Asda have their tins of sweets for £4 from today, but Morrison's have a one week only offer of 2 for £7 this week only.
So I now have all of the sweets, biscuits, most of the meat. So I just need to get some booze and four more pressies and I am ready for Christmas
The weather is looking like it is going to get a lot cooler from Wednesday with sleet and snow forecast for Eastern Scotland  and a cold northerly blowing right down the Eastern side of the country, but I am holding off putting on the heating for as long as I possibly can, now where's me thermals................

Afternoon all
Back from work, washing was still wet on the line so it's over the maiden now.
Tea tonight is cod in parsley sauce, HG new pots, carrots and runner beans.
I need to do some ironing and make a cake if I can be bothered and then back to the knitting, the 1st teddy is nearly finished.
Have a good afternoon everyone.
Hugs HesterChin up, Titus out.0 -
Hello x
I have just got back from having a botox treatment for my migraines and head pain. Why would any woman (or man) put themselves through it unless it was medically indicated. I had 31....yes 31 injections into my head and the doctor said it was really difficult to do as my muscles were all stringy due to being permanently tensed.
Hugs - about to read back now xxI must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.0 -
Sorry if I confused everyone, my interview is next Tuesday, not today
Had contact from one of the other companies I applied to, asking me a few extra questions so hopefully that may come to something too. Fingers firmly crossed for all of this and many thanks for all the lovely messages of support.

Good luck for your interview TTFTM x
Molly, I've just managed to head off a migraine before it hit. I don't understand why people have Botox for vanity reasons. It makes them look a bit weird. IMO. Mind you, I'd have liposuction if I had the money! [STRIKE]or just eat less[/STRIKE]0 -
I know someone who has it done regularly it is obvious when she has had it done because she has a face that looks mummified in a startled expression  Why would anyone want to look like that.Blessed are the cracked for they are the ones that let in the light

Hello again,
Late one from me but have been browsing online for a winter coat to go on a girlie trip to NY so has to be light but warm and waterproof. Why is every shop filled with quilted parkas which make me look like the Michelin man??? Really not flattering unless you're very slim, which I am not!
Am starting to get frustrated, as the only two I've found I like are almost £100 which I don't fancy spending but may have to and at that price It'll have to last several winters.
OK rant over,
Nos da all xxx0
