Hi ive read the sticky. As long as tge buyer is ppal verified and i have proof of postage, an inr claim would be covered. So i guess its goid to go as tge buyer is verifed. ????
The sticky actually says
"Proof of delivery online is needed for a INR dispute, this MUST include a signature viewable online if the value of the sale is £150* or more.
Proof of postage or proof of delivery is needed for an unauthorised chargeback. Do not send anything that can fit through a letterbox Recorded - many times the postman will just put it through the letterbox unsigned for.
I would not take any chances with a mobile phone.
Send it Special Delivery - do not try to save a couple of quid on postage on this, as you stand a good chance of losing your money if you send it any other way.0 -

I'm with Soolin here. As the value of the phone is so high I would definately send by Special Delivery regardless of the cost. Signed For sometimes never gets signed for or shows online as signed for. Also package it well with bubble wrap, a strong box etc.
You can never ever 'tell' if a buyer is ok or dodgy. I dont mean to be harsh but if you decide to send by the cheaper method you could be posting again about the phone that the post office lost or the buyer is saying they never received.0 -
Ok. I think i should just send it sd. To be safe.0

Bloody hell, you don't make things easy for yourself do you?0

Defo go for SD - it's just not worth the hassle with a high price item. I know it's expensive, but it will save you problems0

Oh and please box it, you've had one SNAD phone so don't risk another. A jiffy bag is not sufficient to protect a phone.
The postage sticky has now been updated by theonlywayisup to reflect the fact that the new paypal terms do not require a signature, only online tracking.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards.
