Vodafone to T-Mobile texts

My gf is on voda and im on T-M. When she texts me I sometimes dont receive it untill a few hours later and even the next day.
Has anybody else noticed this/had this problem. Is there anything that cn be done and does anyone know why this happens.

It could just be the signal on your phone - mine is usually delayed (i've moved house and the signal is now awful). Try using your phone near a window - helps with my problem.
If you ring either network and complain they will just tell you that they can't do anything as it can take up to 24 hours for texts to be delivered
Best thing would be to move to the same network - should hopefully sort it out!Wondering how to have a life & not rack up more debts...0 -
I also get the same problem when my DD texts or phones me from her vodafone to my vodafone.
I use a second T-mobile phone because the signal on my vodafone is useless.
I get no problems with the T-mobile one.0
