Thomas Cook delay compensation

Hi I am a first time user. After some emails backwards and forwards with Thomas Cook I have today received an acknowledgment re Regulations etc and they have offered compensation £342 x 2 for delayed flight but only in the form of a voucher off my next holiday booked with Thomas Cook. I obviously wanted my money back can I insist on refund or do I have to accept the voucher.
