I thought I was looking at a clear run at today, until Mrs Dog cried and cried and cried as she lay down. One trip to the vet later, dog dosed up with Tramadol, I've decluttered £££££s and have a diagnosis for her of pancreatitis. Listy task: return existing supplies of her favourite food and get bland muck.

Second Listy task: find missing shopping list.

Does anyone else keep lists? :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: I am surrounded by them and lose them at the point at which the contents become critical. The only reason I know I've got to buy replacement smoke alarm batteries is the dead one is knocking around in the bottom of the shopping bag.

Thifty: spray hairspray onto the biro mark (loads of it) and you'll see it dissolve the ink. Then bung it in the WM.
Don't know what's the matter with me, instead of my HHI, I fell asleep. UNTIL 1pm! I shall fold the washing now. I thought I slept alright last night too.

Lovely being able to tick everything off!
    Have done today;
    Hoovered and steam mopped.
Packed away everything left from the house move.
Sorted bags to go to dump/away in loft.
2 loads of washing done and on the line.
    Kitchen unpacked and clean.
    Toilets bleached.

    Still to do;
    Clean a window or 2....

If I've got half an hour later will be doing a pile of ironing!
    Worst job EVER!

4 loads of washing done and hung on the line.

Yesterday's dry washing put away to various bedrooms.

    Kitchen respectable.

Parcel taken to PO and a trip to town to collect a parcel from Next. I'm very disappointed to find out that Wilkinsons have discontinued their loaf Tin liners. L@keland are expensive so I'll have go go back to cutting up greaseproof paper.

Lovely bathroom Dancemum well done for the knitting too. I wish I had the skill and patience!

2 bags of outgrown clothes to deposit in the school collection bins. Quite pleased with my decluttering this week.

Agreed which is why I iron as little as possible, think personally it's the putting away of said irnoing that I hate more BUT I have just done a HHI and put it away!

Not sure if I have caught you before you go to home base? Tried the HG stuff, didn't work for me and the fumes nearly did me in. Tried everything, for years then finally found on here, mix soda crystals, green bag NOT caustic soda, and a thick bleach to a paste, paint on and leave for up to 6 hours. It works, I was amazed.

Thankyou Furball, I will definitely give this a go. I did have a brief look for the HG stuff in Homeba$e but tbh that shop makes my brain ache :rotfl: and I know they sell it in Lake1and so I was gonna get some next time I am in town, but I'll give your method a try instead as I already have soda crystals and bleach to hand.

Come to think of it, it there anything which soda crystals DON'T work like magic on?!

LameWolf, I would try to pinch DH's wellies but as I am a 5 and he's an 11, I think it would likely end in tears :rotfl:Sending sticks for the BD and a nice bouncy ball to encourage good dogs to come to stay instead :)

Hello, my name is Fizz and I too am a listaholic :hello: I even like to draw a little box at the start of each item so I can use a different coloured pen to do a big TICK! when I've completed a task. I will also rewrite a list if it gets messy/crumpled.

    Tuesday - Stairs/landing/Airing cupboard/kids room
    15 minutes....
[STRIKE]Get everything out of airing cupboard, sort out, put back what you
actually need, recycle/rehome as need be.[/STRIKE] Vacuumed out *TICK!*
    [STRIKE]Test smoke alarms[/STRIKE]
    30 minutes to spare....
    [STRIKE]Hoover floors
Strip bed/s and wash any bedding -- girls' room for me[/STRIKE]
    Got an hour....
    [STRIKE]Dust shelves[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Check kids/ OH’s / Your wellington boots fit and are water tight no splits,
replace now before there is a shortage if needed [/STRIKE]
Added wellies for me to my shopping list
    Clean a window or two

    Extras
[STRIKE]Pair up all odd socks, declutter the rest to recycling/nursery
Wipe any marks off the walls - magic sponges are excellent
    [/STRIKE]
Spot clean any rugs -- no rugs but there are a ton of few marks on the LR carpet so I'll have a go at those instead.
    [STRIKE]Ald! run[/STRIKE]
    Phone tax credits :'(

Fitted new smoke alarm -- couldn't find the screws to take the old one down so tried to prise it off the ceiling with a screwdriver, turns out it was attached by a big sticky pad so I removed it, moved it to the new one and whapped it into place  Delivered PE kit, asked for more medicine, emptied glass into bottle bank, ran away from the hoard of angry wasps which emerged, decluttered two coffees and too many ciggies.

I am making beef wellies for tea for the four of us, will have to get prepping once I have picked up DS2.

(Big kid alert: spellcheck on my pooter keeps changing wellies to willies, I am genuinely :rotfl:)
