Is it any good as my mum just signed up to watch various of the boost channels as it was cheaper than Sky? (she does not have fibre)

If she is getting the channels she wants, and the overall price is less than that from Sky and she has a Youview box and she is happy with the service then whats not to like?
Most of the programmes are delivered via freeview.

box due for delivery this week...so no idea what quality is like

Boost channels are delivered via IPTV, hence the need for BB.

we have you view as others have said the free view stuff is as you would expect .
The stuff piped down the net can be flaky talktalk do traffic shaping which can effect whats coming down the net. Don't get me wrong its not bad I dont expect stuttering pictures from a legal stream.
The remote can be laggy and the series link works to well for example if you link neighbours on c5 you also get the evening showing on 5* and c5+1.
The customer services works to the worst script going . If you phone them for some thing simple plan for 45minutes on the phone
