Well, it is pay day on Thursday 19th (£2005) paid early for Christmas. Next pay day is Thursday 30th January. It is going to be a long 6 weeks so I plan to budget budget budget!!!Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage

Still no debt apart from mortgage.
Monthlys as follow....
Monthly pay: £2005
mortgage: £225 per month
council tax: £102 (10 months)
Broadband: £25 per month
Electricity: £45 a month at moment
Mobile: £36 per month
Other expenses....
EIS union @ £12.30 per month (I need this for the legal cover it provides)
Gym membership @ £28.50 per month (I use this everyday for gym/swim)Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage

£45 seems a lot for electricity, especially as (I'm guessing) the flat is empty during weekdays.0

Your council tax looks high.
Are you paying full year in 10 installments, the year usually runs from April to March.
If you are sole occupant you are entitled to the Single Person's Discount of 25%.0 -

Yeah I think it is probably a bit too high but they seemed to want a direct debit at this level. It is empty pretty much 7.30am until 4.15pm everyday plus I am at gym/swimming/classes most nights too. I will see when I get my bill!Debt now £48,000 in the form of a mortgage
