Thanks guys:)
I've just started the fakeaway and it's Chinese this evening
I always do updates on twitter throughout the evening and then post the recipe sometime tomorrow evening.

Well today has been a complete rollercoaster. I haven't got the energy to write about, all I can say is that I am humbled once again.
The amount of people visiting my blog and contacting me to say that can relate to my blog is heart warming.
The fakeaway tonight was delicious, especially the Chinese roast chicken. I will definitely be cooking that again and for £4.66 for a family of 4 is great value as well.
I have got quite a bit to do around the house tomorrow but hopefully in the afternoon we can spend some precious family time together as that is the most important thing.Professional Blogger | Money Saver | Money Maker0 -
SkintDad: You are a total inspiration, your story also makes me feel as if my own debt problems can be tackled (which in truth I didn't really realise I could do it before).2018 totals:

Thanks Alex.
Of course you can tackle them. Even thought I am positive I still have dark times as well. The way I deal with this is to close my eyes and visualise what I want out of life. Really concentrate on them thoughts for a while.
That should give you the extra push when your feelings are low. Remember, debt is just a state of mind. Change that and you can change anything.:)Professional Blogger | Money Saver | Money Maker0 -
So I politely complained to morrisons last week about a food product that missing half its contents. The value was only 20p but when you are in debt every penny counts.
A few days later I received a letter containing 3 x £1 vouchers!! Brilliant I thought.
Yesterday the postman delivers another letter from morrisons which contained 3 more £1 vouchers??? This was obviously an error but this morning I contacted them through twitter to explain what had happened and where I could return the second batch of vouchers.
I've not heard anything back as of yet but just by doing the right thing I feel so much better.
I really do believe that in doing the right thing it brings good things back to yourself.Professional Blogger | Money Saver | Money Maker0 -

Thank you, I wish I had your positive state of mind.
As for Morrisons, I don't think I'd have been so honest. However, I do think you are a credit to yourself for being honest.2018 totals:

Bit windy this evening in Kent. The children are a little worried so we've made up beds in our room for them - that will be fun!
I've spent the last couple of hours blogging my fakeaway from last night - here is a link to the recipe if you are interested?
Not bad for £4.66!
We worked out that to buy the 3 takeaways that weve made would cost near on £70! Our cost, just under £13
It is getting quite close to the first lot of standing orders coming out and I can't wait to update the spreadsheet!
Tomorrow I have been asked to write a guest blog (can't say too much but it could lead on to some paid writing).
So make sure you all stay safe this evening and batton down the hatches and all that jazz!
