Exterior door that opens out

I know. It's so simple but nobody likes it.
It's going from room to room rather than inside to outside, so whichever way round it goes it's going to open 'inside' to one of the rooms.0 -
Which way a door opens is surely just a function of which side you are standing when you open it?
It depends on which side the sill front is,door drip, security glazing beads and security of hinges. Easy to knock out the hinge pins if they are on the outside and not secure.
Inward opening and outward opening doors/frames are very different.0 -
I think they don't like turning the door around idea as normally this results in the hinges being available to our jemmy bar equipped friends.
Ok , it's in a shed, but that just gives them cover to work under.;)I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)
Always expect the unexpected:eek:and then you won't be dissapointed0 -

Just so long as I don't want much.0 -

Now i'm getting confused...........so to clarify.
The shed is attached to the side of the house. The door that needs replacing is an exterior door i.e. you open it go from outside to inside, ie the door needs to keep the rain out !
Scheming_gypsy, you do not access the shed from the house... ?
I think I'm not going to have any luck..
Thanks for all your advice.0 -

To clarify, you don't want a standard door reversed, the hinges are open to thieves. They would love the cover of your shed to enable them to work on the door.;);)
I don't think you'll have any luck, but made to size isn't that expensive if you do your homework.
It all depends how important it is to you. To be honest, if all you have to work with in the shed is the space the door takes up, you need a new shed more than a new door??:DI like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.

Just buy a standard sized door frame (opening outward) and hang a standard door in it with 3 hinges and fit a pair of hinge bolts to stop thieves knocking the hinge pins out.........
