need a basic mobile!
:jhi folks, been a while since I was on here.
I am fed up with mobile contracts! Am looking to buy an unlocked mobile either a slider or clamshell type, only need it for text, calls and a faily good camera, the keyboard keys need to be a good size as these 'varifocal' specs now make the android touchscreens keyboard hard to type correctly! Just coming up to end of a 2 year contract Samsung S11 mobile and dont need internet access on phone as I can use my Samsung tablet at home for this. Have been looking at the Samsung E1190 clamshell which doesnt have camera but I like the easy layout on the screen but would like a camera on one really.
Can anyone suggest a mobile that covers all these features please!:(

Okay have spent last week researching and have now ordered the Samsung E1190 from Amazon.co.uk only £20.89 free delivery! I decided to forget the camera side of it and just go with this one as the reviews are good and say its basic and that's what I need lol! Will probably go with 30 day Sim from Virgin that gives me 150mins, 500mb and unlimited text! Only costs £7 per month with a free Sim!

A camera is something i would not be without on a phone these days. So many uses.
Doesnt have to be a super duper trillion megapixel one with hundreds of features, 2mb or so with a decent lens.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
The MP number is not everything. I bought a Polaroid 4 or 5 MP camera to replace a Fuji 2800 2MP camera.
The polaroid was utter junk. The picture quality with the Fuji was way better in every single way.
The issue with the cheaper phones is adding a larger MP camera eats into the memory also so more needs to be fitted and pushes the price up.
No point having a camera that only takes 50 pictures before the memory is full.Censorship Reigns Supreme in Troll City...0 -
My old K800i took better pictures than most of the 5-8mpxl cameras on phones today. I think that only had 3 megapixels.

I wish Sony still made phones like this.0 -
p.s. Not suggesting you buy that exact phone just meant as a reply to the camera comments.0
