Thought I'd added to this yesterday! We have a fair bit of food in atm but desperately trying not to do any top up shops this week as it's gonna be an expensive month or two!
Sun - Chicken, chorizo and cider pot with mash (might have included this on a prev week but I overlooked the fact we didn't have a chicken...)
Mon - Beef & cashew stir fry with noodles
Tues - Hot smoked salmon and courgette pasta
Weds - HM 'pizza' pita breads and wedges
Thurs - Sweet & sour pork with rice
Fri - HM pork schnitzel in a bun
Sat - out for tea
Sun - New tactic of trying a new 'slow cook / labour intensive' recipe each Sunday now the nights are drawing in - actual meal undecided as yet0 -
Hi I’m new here so hope you don’t mind me joining in. I havebeen meal planning since I had my first child 7 years ago, at first to helpkeep grocery costs down when I was on mat leave….
But I still do it now and usually do a two week plan at atime, using every single last bit of food and leftovers I can.
Here is my plan for the next week.
Mon – Leftover Mushroom Stroganoff (went mushroom foragingon Sunday and made a huge vat of it!)
Tues – Quick Chilli and Rice (adapted from a recipe inNigella Express)
Wednesday – Leftover Chilli Cheese Pasta Bake with Broccoli
Thursday – Chicken Kievs, Sweet Potato Mash and Peas
Friday- HomemadePizza (I let DD and DS do their own toppings – and I make DH and me one toshare with salad)
Saturday – Spaghetti Carbonara
Sunday – Roast Chicken with all the trimmings (leftoverchicken will go into wraps for next weeks lunchboxes)
Baking wise - bananacake with cream cheese frosting (made it yesterday), Madeira Cake (in the oven)and a Blackberry and Apple Crumble using up the last of the blackberries Ipicked.
Hoping to get lots of inspiration here!0 -

Moroccan or Harissa chick pea stew with spinach or green beans and Moroccan giant couscous
Mackerel pasta with sweetcorn (and whatever else i can find that will go with it)
Vegetable crumble (also DD1 is making pizza tartlets in FoodTech so her and Dd2 will probably have those for tea)
Beans on toast/(Quorn)Croque Monsieur
Quorn HM Lasagne with corn on the cob
Quorn Coq au vin with sweet potato (DDs won't eat this)
Will come back to this later in week when i have thought of one more meal, as only have 6/7 there!
Had a different meal tonight. Like Ariabatta but lentil and carrot soup added as a base, and then tomatoes, spices, herbs etc and mince put through as had no meatballs. At least i now have a batch of sauce to make the lasagne with.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £92.09/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month. Hi thereIt is a cheat version. Instead of making my own dough, I lightly toast pitta to puff them up so I can open them along one side then insert the filling. Microwaved for about 20 sec per pitta heats the filling. Lovely!

Ah right thank you. I thought it was some sort of version with pizza dought i was unaware of. I have tried pitta pizzas before but not keen. It's good you find them nice though.GC Jan £101.91/£150 Feb £70.96/150 Mar £100.43/150 Apr £108.45 app/150 May £149.70/150 Jun £155.15/150 Jul £134.25/£150 Aug £119.37/£150 £92.09/£150‼️Sep £/£160 Oct (includes food, toiletries and cleaning from 13th to 12th of each month.
