It's not weird for a single man to go anywhere, but you don't want to find you are lonely when you arrive at a place you've spent good money to get to.

It's over 30 years since I went to Hamburg, and the city itself doesn't seem to have made much of an impact. The things I remember most were
- a trip on the river
- Bremen
- Lubeck : marzipan, war-damaged church, generally lovely town. Even closer than Bremen, so worth considering.0 -
Yeah, im going to go Bremen, its only an hour in the ICE train, no stops in between0
