Sainsbury's toy sale

Popped in my local a few hours ago and the store was empty apart from the toy aisle.
It was pretty manic! I managed to get hold of a few bits for my baby due in December before getting fed up with being pushed around left but looked like there was some really good deals to be had.Married 23/03/13 :heart2:

My expectations were raised a few years ago when it was half price on everything (including all Lego) - their current offers are disappointing by comparison. A couple of items but nothing to get excited about - any more toy sales imminent that anyone is aware of please?
I seem to recall Tesco had 3 for 2 on all Lego around this time last year?
Many thanks

Hi, I've just visited my local Sainsbury's (Filton East), most of the toys are marked down to half price. There are lots of people there and they are busy snatching everything from the shelves. There are lots of boxes of lego, Barbies etc. So I checked online with Smyth's Toys .... and all the bigger or more expensive items are still £2-3 cheaper at Smyth's. So I came away 2 lots of Play Doh (4 pack) for £1 each :-) So in my opinion AVOID the sale, it's not cheaper!!0

I went this morning and got a few bits:
large remote control dinosaur £7.49
large styling head with accessories etc £6.50
box of my little pony lookalike with accessories £2.50
quite a few bits of lego, the stunt plane, coast guard stuff as with 25% off cheaper than I've seen it elsewhere
little foam plane kit 25p
magic tricks £1
barbie mega blocks £4.99 and more!
so happy enough, plenty of presents sorted :TEvery sixty seconds you spend angry, upset or mad, is a full minute of happiness you'll never get back..:p

The Lego friends set I bought was cheaper in Sainsburys than on amazon, not by much I'll admit but was cheaper.0

Sprucefield (NI) store was so quiet at 8.15. I didn't think they had a lot. I noticed the large nerf guns and Barbie carriage had sold out. They had a lot of la la loopsie some half price others a third off. Lego Chima was half price and the lego hero factory, others were 25% off. Sprucefield had the Happyland zoo and Fairy house half price. They also had rocking horse, first market stall, a ride on push along zebra and the huge playmobil castle all half price.
Then checked Belfast Hollywood store and thought this was quite poor. They had the nerf guns still and alarmed Barbie kitchen, baby Annabel and a guitar. Again the playmobil but no Happyland.
Sprucefield did say they were expecting another lorry today full with toys, but I won't be making another trip unless passing.
Can you tell me what the playmobil castle is and how much it is as I haven't seen that in the store I went in today. Thanks.0 -
Sprucefield and Hollywood NI also had the playmobil zoo for approx £230
