I was very pleased with my bargains, monster high (rock star range) only £8, was £10 in asda on Sunday, MH 13 wishes £12, nerf gun £3.99, sully soft toy £8, moshi monsters canvas bus/bag £4.99, MM bath bomb £1.50. I guess I got lucky as these were what my kids have asked for.

they had a wooden balance bike half price (17.50 i think) which could be good for boy toddlers.

Packed in my local (Watchmoor Park, Camberley). Picked up some moshi monster bits 1/2 price and a Match of the Day trivia game (25%off). Almost got a Lego friends set (25%off) but checked Amazon and its cheaper on there so didn't bother!

Was lots of Lego left, bt suspect you'd find most cheaper elsewhere.

    Def more for toddlers/babies.
    Slightly worn out mum to 3 (DS1 May 03, DS2 Feb 05, DD1 Feb 08). When i grow up i think i'll become a UN Peace keeper....
  • Which store was this please, as my local didn't have the MM bus or bath bombs in. Did manage to pick up some Moshi Monsters stuff, Barbie Mariposa doll, Hello Kitty Nail care case, a few sainsburys own brand games, play doh and lego friends so was happy with my shopping :-)

Nothing big this year for me just stocking fillers. Lots of younger children toys.
I am waiting for their Xmas gift aisle to go 3 for 2 because I saw some good stuff there too!! This usually happens straight after toy sale.

Sprucefield (NI) store was so quiet at 8.15. I didn't think they had a lot. I noticed the large nerf guns and Barbie carriage had sold out. They had a lot of la la loopsie some half price others a third off. Lego Chima was half price and the lego hero factory, others were 25% off. Sprucefield had the Happyland zoo and Fairy house half price. They also had rocking horse, first market stall, a ride on push along zebra and the huge playmobil castle all half price.

Then checked Belfast Hollywood store and thought this was quite poor. They had the nerf guns still and alarmed Barbie kitchen, baby Annabel and a guitar. Again the playmobil but no Happyland.

Sprucefield did say they were expecting another lorry today full with toys, but I won't be making another trip unless passing.
  • I got lego duplo letters set for half price at 12.50 other lego sets seemed to all be half price though. It seems that some lego sets must be reduced further than the 25% advertised.

Hi I went to the colliers wood branch, the MM bus/bag is a zip up bag, not an actual bus, more a carrying case. Hth

If you are closer to Tesco they also have Duplo letters for 12.50 with free click and collect http://m.tesco.com/mt/www.tesco.com/direct/lego-duplo-play-with-letters-6051/210-9946.prd?skuId=210-9946&pageLevel=sku&_requestid=192982&un_jtt_redirect#
  • Got to my local store at 9.45am, was quite quiet, just a few mums in the toy isle. Quite a lot left but mainly toys for younger children, they only had tiny lego sets which were 25% so cheaper on Amazon. A lot of bigger items including playdough tables, lots of Barbie sets, happyland sets, la la loopy dolls a playsets, muppets teddies, giant craft sets, moshi monster tree house with fugures, my little pony, monster high, peppa big ferris wheel and loads of baby toys.

I bought a hello kitty set (snack van), my little pony set (2 ponies with lots of clothes, shoes etc..) and the Barbie with wings.

I didn't buy much as most of the good deals were on baby/toddler toys.
