True, but if there is any doubt, obvious "template" complaints are judged more harshly than those written in the words of the actual complainant.

The letter gets the real reasons for mis sell points across, the op could write this any way they want.

Why would you not put number 3?... most of these loan PPI were sold with the "bonus" of getting the PPI back after 5 years, this was how these shisters got you hooked, I did tell the OP that if no bonus or cash back applied to them to omit this .

Because I'm pretty sure Welcome didn't have PPIs which were sold in this way. Alleging something which isn't the case takes away credibility from the complaint.

This was not downloaded from the internet, this is MY LETTER that has won redress from shisters like First Plus/Welcome/ Picture Finance and the list goes on an on and on and on, these were overpriced PPI from second charge lenders, these are the reasons this PPI was mis sold and people did not realise re the unfair rebate and the cash back and the thousands of £££££££ in interest for a useless PPI that did not cover you after 5 years but was still on the
loan to term end and if I was a business I would be raking it in with the wins this letter has produced.

I am entitled to my opinion and to give advice where I see fit. My opinion is that this appears to be a template letter. If the OP now uses your words, then it will have been downloaded from the internet, and will be a template letter. Much better to use their own words and their memory of the sale which took place for their PPI, not yours.

Just my opinion, obviously. And congratulations on your successes.

    Thank-you apologies for asking !
  • Hi

Please can someone help me. I put a claim into welcome about 8 weeks ago. I was told last week good news my claim had been accepted but needed signing off. He could not tell me anymore details. I then rang Tuesday and was told a letter had been sent on the 14th. I have not received this. Thing is the person I spoke to secomd time would not tell me anything. I'm doubting now what's going on.

I defiantly had the PPI as I have the certificate to prove it. No statements though at all. The amount I think was for 3k it was back in 2004 over 3 years with payments of 120 a month. I have no idea what to think. A) will it be accepted and b) any ideas how much I will get. I think the the ppi was front loaded

    Thanks guys

A certificate does not prove you paid any PPI since you could have cancelled it at an early stage and paid nothing. Regardless, proving you had PPI is not the most important factor here, in order for it to be refunded to you it has to have been mis-sold to you. What complaint reasons did you give?

Your "claim" does not have be "accepted", the Bank has to agree it was mis-sold to you.

Probably best not to duplicate your posts, as this is annoying and won't net you any different answers.

Amersall, further to your comments I have finally contacted Welcome and I have now received the relevant FOS questionnaire, in which I have completed.

What other details did you submit if you dont mind me asking ?

You only need the reasons I gave previous for mis sell and the account number.
Good luck and keep me posted.
