For future reference (and information would have been on TFL or London City Airport site) DLR from London City Airport to Canning Town then straight onto Jubilee Line to Waterloo...whether that option would have been useful to you with bags and baby is another thing

It looks like you've booked a return from CDG to Brazil, and then effectively you've booked two single tickets from London (any airport) to Paris (any airport). If you'd specified that you wanted to start and return to the same UK airport, you wouldn't have got yourself into the mess.

No, these flights would have been returned by the AF web site when the OP asked for tickets between London and Brazil.

The moral has to be, the cheapest option is not always the best value. A ticket with all departures out of CDG might have cost more, but the saving in time and nuisance would have been sufficient to justify the higher price.

Anyway, the OP can send a message of complaint to AF via their website, and will probably be given a couple of thousand 'Flying Blue' points in compensation.
