Non-Performing Seller.... what to do?

Just bid and won an auction for a ticket to see Tom McRae this wednesday and my winning bid was for 99p
However as soon as the auction ended I get an email from the seller saying that because the item sold for less than face value she was unwilling to let me have it at the price I won it for.
Now my question, should I just let it go as I only bid as it was cheap, or should I drag them along?

Very simple.....
You draw their attention to the following line of the auction..... There is no reserve on this auction..... You then advise the seller that if they do not complete, you will file a complaint with EBay for Chronic Auction nonperformance (failing to actually complete a valid sale) ...... and leave feedback accordingly.

Ha!
It gets better, just recieved another email from the seller after telling them that if they didn't complete the transaction I would report them to eBay and she is now claiming that she removed the aucction an hour before it was due to end. This is despite it being a 24 hour auction and it lasting 24 hours exactly and with me bidding less than a minute before the end.Titch

I think i'd make the seller pay up - you can see what time the auction ended and what time you placed your bid can't you?
I've had stuff sell below cost price (only marginally) but you win some you lose some, that is the idea of ebay isnt it... it wouldnt work if everyone decided they no longer wanted to play the game and threw their toys out of the pram huh!!
I think you ask them nicely one more time stating that you will be giving them negative feedback and making an official complaint to ebay as they have broken a legally binding contract between you the buyer and them the seller...
You can also ask ebay for their address and phone number - tell the seller this too and worry the pants off them! lol! http://cgi3.ebay.co.uk/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?UserInformationRequest#ContactInfo

If the seller had a minimum reserve then it should have been entered. Tough on her if she was too tight to spend the tiny extra fee for doing this.
All you can do is make a complaint and leave a neg. You could check to see if she relists the item, if so further ammo for your case.:idea:I got an idea, an idea so smart my head would explode if I even began to know what I was talking about:idea:0 -
I agree with the other posters. realistically you can't make her send you the goods, however you can worry her a little.
Get her contact details and phone her. Be very polite and just give the impression that it was an ebay suggestion that you call her and try to sort it out before you took the matter further with ebay.
As for her having ended the auction that is nonsense. As long as you have a winning bidder email you won, fair and square.
You do need to accept the fact though that you are not going to get the tickets, but make sure you put in a non performing seller complaint against her.

I forget sometimes that not everyone likes to play as dirty as me
hence I deleted the post.
Their email address is listed in the auction, so you can at least make sure they don't make a penny out of the ticket, and it'll give you the kind of warm inner glow that not even Ready Brek can bring.
