Thanks Code, that makes sense. I've got a Sainsbury's test and it does say only 53% accurate 4 days earlier, that's pretty rubbish so I suppose there is no point disappointing myself early on if there is still a chance it could be BFP later.
I will just try to be patient, I am even preggo or not, a few days won't make a difference...except maybe to my sanity :rotfl:

If you are an early tester, I'd recommend buying a whole load of internet cheapies to satisfy your POAS cravings. You can get 50 for a few pounds - they're usually more sensitive than most store bought ones, then if you get a positive you can buy a digi to confirm, and if it's negative, you've only wasted a few pence.

Just...don't leave them on a radiator to develop.

  • Sounds promising LailaP :)

I got a load of those IC tests that codemonkey mentioned. I'm itching to use them! I won't cause I'm only 5DPO and it would be insane, but I never seem to make it enough DPO to use them :o

Hope everyone is feeling a bit better after the horrible time many of you were having.

Just out of interest, what happens if you leave them on the radiator to develop?
    I'm guessing an incorrect result?

You get evaporation lines and sometimes they look quite like faintly positive tests.

Tests purchased and ov strips too. Hopefully I won't need the latter but it was a bargain to get both so I'm all prepared for next month.

Emmaj do you have any specific questions /concerns about the lap & dye? I had mine this time last year, as an HSG found my tubes were blocked and I had symptoms of endometriosis too (confirmed by the op). They freed my tubes somehow (I was told before the op that it was unlikely they could fix them!) and removed some endometriosis adhesions during the op. It was less traumatic physically than I'd geared myself up for, though it was always a more mental battle for me (anxiety issues) - but even so if I needed one again, I would. After all, it seems to have done the job as I found out I was pregnant just before the IVF referral was due to go through and I'm now, unbelievably, 30 weeks pregnant :)

    Good luck

    P. S. While I'm here : Ladies, is there a reason none of you have once done the lists for code monkey, after she specifically asked for them to be covered so she could take a step back?

Bigzippy I thought it was sorted to be honest, but Code if you want me to do the lists for a week I can, just I'm travelling alot with work after then and so won't always be able to log on to here. I can do them up until the 9th if it's of any help x

Not alot to report here, just feeling really tired but at least my boobs don't feel like they've been used as punchbags yet :rotfl:

Big zippy, Firstly congratulations to you on your pregnancy.. Hope everything goes well :)
I was just seeing if anyone had any experiences of it really as I was a bit nervous yesterday afternoon. I guess my main concern is them finding anything really bad in there when they open my stomach up. I had a clear scan so im hoping not. I guess I am really hoping that they do a bit of lets just say cleaning up and it unblocks something and I fall pregnant beforeI have to start all the iVF. Anyway i have the fertility show on saturday so im sure i can talk to a lot of consutlants there.
    Once again congrats :)x
