Evening ladies.

Hugs to those who need them. Everything crossed for those who need it as well. Congrats Lara!

I have my first appointment with FS tomorrow (just the initial with the nurse). I'm anxious about it, but it's the process, not tomorrow, that I'm anxious/excited about.
OH is away unfortunately so doing it on my own which I wish wasn't the case, but too late to change it now.

Not ttc related - I've been going through some dental work and today I had an appointment which I thought was to take moulds for my new teeth (short story - lost all my front teeth when I had a fall when I was younger). I didn't really think about how this "mould" would happen but what has ended up is that they had to remove my front teeth, and now I have temporary front tooth!!! I am so unhappy. It's obvious and means I need to not smile with lips apart. AND it will be for about 4weeks because I had gum surgery today so need to wait for swelling to go down. Sorry for the rant but I'm quite upset about it. Plus going on holidays soon so won't be able to smile in photos etc.

Anyway - not a great weekend so I'm glad I'm staying in!

I've let OH off BDing tonight. I previously said in response to another poster that I could BD 10 days running, however it's quickly becoming apparent that I'm not as young or as energetic as I used to be, and so I have to confess that no I don't think I could BD 10 days in a row anymore. We BD last night and I'm still aching now, and if I feel recovered we'll probably BD tomorrow, if the online ovulation predictor was correct I ovulated on the 15th and we BD the day before, not on the day, and BD the day after, and the day after that, so I should be OK missing tonight, eggs only survive about 3 days unfertilised don't they so it's probably pointless BDing much more for the next few days anyway?
I do hope I manage to get pregnant this cycle, I'm getting to the point where I'm not sure how much more of this constant BDing I can take. On the plus side I think I'm working muscles that haven't been worked in years, should help with the weightloss!

AFM am really fed up - had the brown spotting starting 2nd Oct - then realised that wasn't CD1 and that began on the 10th, now that has gone and I have brown spotting again - beginning to worry I have something really wrong. Have a smear test booked for a couple of weeks time, but not sure whether to try and see a doctor as well, my surgery are a nightmare to get an appointment with so not sure what to do

Just delurking, I think the egg only hangs around for 24 hours so your best bet is bd in the 3 days leading up to ov, ov, and the day after.

10 is a bit unnecessary if you know what day ov is!

I tried to do 3-4 days in a row so lead up to ov and ov was covered, and the day after if we could be bothered x
