No idea. Because of all the hospital visits and pain and drug fog I didn't bother to track this month. I have spotting so somewhere between 11-13 dpo I'd guess.

I was at the dentist earlier and I was trying to think about other things and my mind immediately went to "I hope tea is pregnant!!".

DH just came in and asked why I was crying. I lied and told him Hollyoaks was sad.

Evening all, hugs and baby dust all round.

Well AF has gone, so don't know what that is all about. Usually lasts at least a week but never got going. Still feel PMS-y though and can relate to the random crying, I was baking today but my cake came out a tiny bit wrong so that made me cry lol. I seriously need to get a grip!

Tinkwings, your reindeer are awesome! I was thinking I might need to take up something crafty to occupy me until they sort out my job.

I am 7dpo today, pretty sure I am out already though, boobs dont really hurt not thinking thats a good sign.

I'm not sure if this helps but just because your boobs don't hurt doesn't necessarily mean you are not pregnant:

I was NTNP when I got pregnant with DS1 so wasn't symptom spotting, but looking back the first symptom I got was at about 6 weeks when I started to always feel nauseous in the lift at work whenever it moved between floors (thought nothing of it), and then at 8 weeks when I started throwing up 24/7 we finally realised! I'd be a bit tireder than usual for a couple of weeks, but I didn't get sore boobs until I was 9 weeks pregnant - and by God did they hurt, it's the most painful they've ever been.
  • Hello ladies,

I have been reading your topic for the last two weeks but afraid of replying. I am at the moment 11dpo and I think I am out for this month. Sore boobs every evening, but that is my period sign, due to come on on sunday and not looking forward to it. I was really having my hopes up even though it is the first month of 'trying'. We have two other kids and my husband has always said no more, but after me being unhappy for the last two years about not having a third and our situation drastically being improved he decided if I really wanted we would try for a third. Of course I am worried he will change his mind if it doesn't happen quickly, so I am still hoping for this month even though I think I am out.

Hope you don't mind me joining. Beside the sore boobs no other systems, but with neither pregnancy before I had any symptoms till over 6 or 7 weeks gone. I also never got a positive pregnancy test before period is due. (so why do I test on 9dpo I wonder) I got a few ic's left and a three superdrug tests and they need to last me to sunday.
  • CD1 today :(
I have a pregnancy test I bought over a year ago, never had the chance to use it. I was going to allow myself to test this morning but nope, back in the drawer it goes. Why do we let ourselves get our hopes up every time?

Massive hugs Clevernamehere - onwards and upwards but for now, enjoy the wine and chocolate. :grouphug:

Looking for some of your views as I'm worried about things - we are almost at 1 year TTC (on 1st November) with no luck and as you've probably seen on a few of my posts, both of parents are disabled but sadly now my Dad is terminally ill - was given about a year, 2 months ago.

Now we'd love to be able to give them a grandchild but it's not looking likely at the moment. Clearly things are going to get very difficult in the near future as we're already in contact with the hospice.

But should we consider stopping our TTC journey - I'm 34, (35 in Feb) and hubby is 37 next month so time is ticking away.

I know people say there is never a good time but clearly our lives are a tad different to most peoples....

    What are your thoughts?
    Love Gelly

So sorry to hear about your parents. This must be such a stressful time for you.
Obviously you have to do what feels right in your situation. If you feel that you have enough on your plate at the moment maybe you should ntnp for a while rather than get yourself get caught up in charting ovulation, counting days and all the rest of it.
I don't think you should "end your ttc journey" though (unless that's what you want).
Speaking personally, it was the long illness and death of a close member of my family earlier in the year that really focused my mind on ttc. These things makes you consider your place within your wider family rather than just as a couple. I would love to be able to give my family (and my partner's) some good news and something else to occupy their thoughts other than hospitals etc. Also, I know it's a cliche, but it makes you realise that life is too short and there's no point in putting off what will make you happy. I'm sure that's not what your parents want for you either.
What a tricky situation for you. It must be exhausting! What does your partner think?
  • hey ladies!

had a sucessful trip to the doc!
OH is going for his SA - this is our 11th cycle, 5th after my MC.
I was worried that because I am only 26 & OH is 30, and the fact that we are only TTC for around 12 months, that we wouldnt be eligible for any treatment just yet

Doc has sent off a referral for the dye test for me - she did warn me that it would take until the new year for an appointment to come through, and that she hoped I would have a BFP before then.
Feeling a lot better about the whole thing, i really admire you ladies who deal with things much better than I can.

I have always been a worrier & nothing will change that. The doc did laugh as I have had an annoying twitch & tiny cyst on my left eye lid which is purely down to stress!

So can anyone tell me how to chill out while working full time, ttc & trying to run a home????? :rotfl:

Great news :) Do you feel a bit better that they're taking you seriously?

In terms of relaxing, what I've always done is book specific time for it - in the form of, for example, pilates classes, massages/facials, getting nails done. Things that make you stop what you're doing. Easier said than done a lot of the time :o
