Aqua - I am not a big drinker, only when I go out which is quite rare these days, but I don't think you should cut alcohol out completely, I think you're fine to drink until you get pregnant, so enjoy while you can
Wangdoodle - glad your sisters scan went well
Blimey, I wish I was one of you ladies who could do 10 days in a row, 2 is bad enough for me!!
Hugs for CD1 without a paddle
TTC39 ooh hopefully another October announcement?!0 -
Aqua, admittedly I'm not a heavy drinker any more, but I didn't stop drinking - I thought about it, but 3 years is a long time to go without a glass of wine for nothing. If you get pregnant, your baby doesn't take anything from your body for 10 weeks so even if you've had the odd drink, it doesn't matter.
At the moment I can't drink, but I am taking some medicines unsuitable for pregnancy. The doctors don't seem worried, so neither am I.
AFM, pretty fed up at the moment. Am sad about the panda. Am sad about myself and I just want to curl into a wee ball under a duvet. Think I'm a bit PMSy.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

I was just wondering what other ladies were doing and/or if it affects your chances of conceiving, When I was expecting DS1 I didn't find out until I was 8 weeks, and a few days prior to finding out I had been out and had a considerable amount to drink. Cue me sat in the doctors office crying my eyes out that I might have unknowingly damaged the baby. The doctor told me that whatever I'd drank before 12 weeks wouldn't actually matter as they don't start feeding from the placenta until then, so as long as I had stopped drinking (I did as soon as I got a BFP) it wouldn't be a problem. I don't know if she was telling the truth or trying to make me feel less guilty. DS1 is fine by the way so it probably was the truth.
I think I'm just going to eat and drink as normal until I get a BFP, otherwise I could be missing out on all my favourite things for months!
Hugs to without a paddle for CD1
TTC39 I hope it was an implantation bleed and not AF, fingers crossed!
Thanks to codemonkey for the lists - I find them very useful for planning when I should BD and when it wouldn't matter if we didn't.0 -

Hi everyone,
How are we all?
Hugs for CD1, it's sucks. TTC I will have everything crossed for you that it's not AF but just some sort of spotting.
We need some more Octobers.
Well I was due AF today and it hasn't arrived. I'm trying desperately not to get my hopes up. I did do a sneaky test yesterday but didn't tell my husband and it was in the afternoon but was BFN but think if no AF tomorrow morning may do another then. Think I will be 13 DPO by then. I've just got a feeling I'm not pregnant though, and trying desperately not to cry!0 -
well, i dont know what is up with me..TMI Warning.... I had a bit of blood monday , hence me stating CD1 .. but nothing by end of day.. in fact not even enough to say was a period... so very confused.. negative on tests but now no bleeding???!!!!
maybe TMI but was it brown or bright red? Could be implantation, could be random spotting. Hope its the former. Wait a couple of days and test again. Would you like to remain where you are on the list?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -

Not that I'm advocating early testing, but testing before 14dpo you should use FMU. Fingers crossed for you.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Thanks code and thanks for doing lists as usual. Maybe if not AF in morning I will test then! I keep telling myself to think negatively as I would only be disappointed if not a BFP but who Am I kidding to not be hoping and praying.
Why do they teach kids that if you look at a willy you will get pregnant lol.0 -
Oooh, got my fingers crossed for you ttc39 and Disney_Pluto.
Hugs to you codemonkey sorry you're feeling sad.
AFM, I'm a moron. Think I really hurt myself running yesterday, and I just got back home from work and drove my car into a wall trying to park cause it's dark and I'm so tired I don't know what I'm doing0 -
Hugs for CD1 and fingers crossed for BFP Disney_Pluto
I'm getting confused, I think I'm CD5 but it's not like a normal AF, it was on time but it's really light. I counted CD1 the moment I saw blood (sorry if TMI) but am I to wait and count from when I see something significant? Usually it just starts and then all hell breaks loose but it just hasn't got going this time.
I assume implantation is a short thing so I have dismissed that idea and instead convinced myself I must be having early menopause.
I've been told to "work from home" until my work can tell me whether I have a job or not so I have a lot of spare time on my hands which is not a good thing as I spend all day driving myself potty about trying to get pg and all the reasons it might not happen. I know I am being ridiculous, it's still early days for me and hubby.
I never thought TTC would get to me like this. What doesn't help is watching Jeremy Kyle...no more day time TV for me!0
