Sorry to butt back in to the thread...by no means an expert but I did read a lot about this! I think temps are more accurate because the surge that is measured by the opk can be short lived enough to get missed - as in, it could have happened and already be over between tests. As for the CM, I never had any proper ewcm, even this cycle when I appear to have conceived, so it clearly is possible to ov without it.

Otoh....as you say, the temp rise could also be from being unwell!

I would also advocate bding every other day from the end of one af to the beginning of the next, as much as possible...you never know exactly when you are going to ov (even someone as regular as clockwork could have an anomalous month, so you just never know!) so if you do it every other day at least there are always some swimmers in place waiting for ov! If we are TTC again (either if this bean doesn't stick or if we try for no 2 one day) I will be making a real effort to do that.

Thanks Daisiegg I see what your saying and am inclined to think that you are right and the temps are right but am confused that I am now getting stronger OPKs if I did OV 3 days ago. Will just keep on with it and see what happens - FF is now predicting that AF will arrive on CD 28 instead of 33 which it always does. Who knows. I did want to use this cycle as my getting to know myself month and so can't complain really.

As for b'd'ing every other day all month for us it's just not possible even though we both wish it was hence the reason I do really need to be able to pin point OV to within a few days. Oh well on we go.

Afternoon ladies!

CD1 for me please - it was expected as tested yesterday and BFN, we both felt quite down by it as we really gave it a good go this month. It's not all bad tho as have a boozy night out planned for next week ;-) managed to only test 3 times this cycle so an improvement on last month.

I hope your feeling is right Frankieloo about this month!
