Huge congrats lilmissup!

Tentatively joining this thread. Only been trying a week! (so since 12/13).

Confused with what my body is doing atm though. Came off pill in late June, had normal periods in August, September, October and nothing since. Cycles slightly irregular which was to be expected but they seemed to be getting more regular? BFN a week ago which i expect is accurate as I'm currently about 3 weeks late. :mad:

I have a BMI of 28 and wonder if that's throwing my hormones off a bit. (got married in March and piled the weight on since!) so am currently a WW member (i know if i get pg i'll have to cease that though)

I haven't started measuring temp or anything though, feel like i'm a bit in limbo til AF shows up.

tinkwings Sorry to hear you are having a rubbish time. I would be fuming too. Hope things get better for you soon. Not sure about a 1 day AF sorry!

sulphate Not that it helps but when I came off the pill it did take a year or so for everything to become regular again. Hope everything settles down soon and AF arrives so you can crack on with the TTC!

alioops78 This is my 2nd month of OPKs. I was pretty sure when I ovulated before because of EWCM but I just wanted to have something confirm it. I tried temping this month...don't know why really but I can't get any decent readings from it with it constantly being up and down so I have given up.

I don't think I will bother with OPKs next month, hubby and I BD regularly anyway so it's one less thing to worry about.

Please could I be marked at CD17 and 1DP0 tomorrow please when you do the lists.Boobs pain has come like clock work...got the ibuleve on the go! :rotfl:

Laila, I didn't have much success from temping either, I think because I'm quite a restless sleeper and I kick the covers off and move around a lot and generally wake up every couple of hours.

Tink I replied to your post on the other side.

sulphate - it could be that you ovulated later this cycle. Ovulation can be affected by everything from stress to the change in weather and daylight hours.

Well here I am in Germany (Christmas markets weekend). Hubby is so poorly with bad ear infection but we managed to do some baby making last night so hopefully it will be ok. I think I ovulated yesterday but FF isn't seeing it yet. How long does it take for it to realise?

Hello All,


Nothing really to report, other than can I be updated to 4DP0. I'm just following Fertility Friend's suggestions of when I ovulate. I don't think they're too far off. We have actually put in some effort this month, what with dark mornings and nights, plus v stressful at work we're looking forward to finishing work next Friday.


Looking to test on 23rd/24th if the witch doesn't turn up! I don't plan on buying on pregnancy tests until 22nd in case the witch appears.

Laila - I cant temp either, i work shifts and never get up at the smae time each day - i tried for one month and my temps were all over the place!

Daisyegg - have a lovely time at the christmas market, sometime FF takes a while to update - it may not be until CD1 when it will work it out (fingers crossed there will be no CD1 though obviously) .

AFM..... CD1 :-( No BFP for me this year. so my journey began 1 year ago i really thought id have a baby or at least be pregnant by now. I can honestly say though - its taken me at least 7/8 months to work out my long cycles, and some months (due to work) we've not even been in with a chance. 2014... WILL BE my year!! positive thinking! hehe

Thanks for the lists Kellykins. Hugs for CD1, keep positive. At least you can enjoy the christmas festivities and a new year BFP would be a lovely way to brighten up dreary January! That's what I'm thinking anyway.

AFM - I've felt really relaxed over the last few days while AF has been here. Knowing I'm not pregnant and not worrying about when to do it is quite nice! Getting ready to get on it again though. FF reckons I'll be OV around Christmas Day but as I don't want to use OPKs or start temping just yet (I'm trying to be relaxed about it - who am I kidding!) we are just going to assume I'm fertile all month ;-) it is Christmas after all.
