Skintchick - brill post.... really enjoyed reading it

I have been feeling really down the last few days, thinking i had missed OV etc... but finally this morning got my CB OPK flashy smiley face yay! Thank God Bless - DH was SO tired yesterday, I had to keep him awake whilst we were at it. PMSL - the things we do huh ladies!? Bless him..... think he was quite hoping that we had already had the fertile period and that last night would be the end of it for a week or two.... poor sod - will give him the "bad news" later that we need to keep at it every 48hrs for the next few days still..... :eek:

Bit of a negative though, yesterday - went to gp for routine blood test/blood pressure check as i have polycystic kidney disease - despite me having given up smoking recently, my bloody pressure was 120/92 which is really high for me - i have NEVER had high blood pressure before :cool: Its always been 120/74 or so which is spot on..... AND the reason i had to go for bloody test was to check on kidney function because when i had day 21 bloods last month, it came back that my kidsney function has dropped from 77 to 53 (which is not great...) So thats all rather pants. Ridiculously - i have recently lost a bit of weight (not much only a few pounds...) and as i said, stopped smoking. So thats typical isnt it.... for YEARS (since diagnosed at age 13yrs) this kidney business hasnt had ANY effect on me or my health..... now i am trying for a baby, Bobs ur uncle - problems!

Okay, it COULD be that the problems have been there and that because i rarely go to gp, i just dont KNOW - have only started having tests etc cos of fertility. :cool:

So after various blood tests, semen analysis and dye tests I have had the all clear and they can find nothing wrong. Does this mean I am unexplained fertility??

I'm not sure. Has your dr made any comment when you were given your results? It may depend on how long you've been trying, to whether you'd be classed as having unexplained infertility. If it were me, I would make an appointment with your dr and ask what the next steps are.

Im debating whether to order to ov sticks- I was going to start using them in December as I wanted a few months for my cycles to get sorted and to have a few months without putting much pressure on myself- well Im still on first cycle so Im wondering whether to get some so when af finally appears I have them ready to use!!

Had my blood test today- hopefully get the results in a few days- not actually that sure what was being tested- Im sure he said it was to check my hormones, but don't know anything more than that!!
