Thanks lolly for your support. It means a lot
If you don't mind me asking, what CD were you when you tested? As in DPO, and had you started AF by then. I'm sorry if me asking questions is painful for you. Please do tell me if you'd rather not answer x0 -
No your fine Wangdoodle no problem.
Just checked my ap so can give you a bit more detail it was cd9 which was the Friday when I tested, AF normally 6 days so to still have albeit light bleeding at that point was odd. As I'd just bought some opks that mth and they said to start using around cd8/9 for my cycle length I used one and got a strong positive which was also odd.
Given that and just feeling a bit different and the weird AF I tested and got a tlp very like yours on an ic.
Sat was also positive on a digi but by the Sunday negative on an ic and as I said negative at GP the Monday.
Not sure what dpo I was as hadn't been using opks for that cycle and didn't realise that I had short lp at that point either...Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
I am CD3 today....... Was a 27 day cycle - went to gp appt on Wednesday for day 21 bloods results - all normal. She said that combined with the fact that i had positive OPK (clearblue digi too so a definite rather than confusing IC) means not much point doing CD 2/3 bloods as i am obviously ovulating etc - plus have 26-28 cycles so pretty much as it should be. So yeah... she re-iterated that there would be no financial help for us because i already have my son (despite OH having no bio children of his own.... grrrrrrrrrr but hey ho just how it is eh?!) but suggested that because OH has no children and had no pregnancies with him, it may be his fault. Which i REALLY didnt want it to be because it scares me  I love him of course and will of course be with him forever (i hope!) but SO hard to imagine no more babies ever...... plus i have such a complicated gynae history i was expecting it to be my fault and could have dealt with that better i think..... surprisingly though, he is totally up for going and doing the SA. Which surprised me! So gotta sort that out asap .....Baldrick, does it have to be this way? Our valued friendship ending with me cutting you up into strips and telling the prince that you walked over a very sharp cattle grid in an extremely heavy hat?0

Wangdoodle hope you are ok?
Sorry if my story has upset you xx
I know it would of course been better if I'd said I'd tested before AF arrived not after like you have. I'd hoped that getting a positive after AF started was a good sign and I was still testing positive a day or two after AF stopped but for me sadly not.
Sending big squishy hugs your way xxxxxxBaby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Hi lolly no you haven't upset me. Thank you very much for sharing your experience, it really helps to get an idea of what might be going on. I'm fairly pragmatic about things. I know it's probably a chemical so I'm going to hope for the best and prepare for the worst.
We will be away for the rest if the weekend so I'll try not to dwell on it to much and test again on Monday, then make a doctors appointment.
Thanks for the hugs, I really appreciate it0 -
Enjoy your weekend away - will keep my fingers crossed for you!
Let me know how things go and any questions just give me a shout xxBaby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Hello all.
Well, after an eventful walk into town through wind and hail!!! I went and bought a pack of two tests.
As soon as I got home I POAS only to discover they had been packaged wrong and they were ones you need to dip in.
Seemed ok so I squeezed a tiny bit more out, lol, and I got a BFP!!!!
I used the other test and got the same result. Very happy and very scared all at once. Still no symptoms. OH is at work so I will have to wait an hour to tell him, so you lovely ladies are the first to know.
Much love to you all. I will still be lurking to find out how you are all getting on. XXX0 -
