    Morning all :)

Horrible weather here today, was hoping the boys football matches would be cancelled but no such luck.

Got my asda delivery for tins of sweets and the roses and celebrations compared at £5 each not the 2 for £7 I was hoping. On a plus note the uncle bens express rices compared to morrisons at 79 p which after the 10 % as well I thought was a good price for it :)

Hope everyone has a lovely Sunday :)

good news today dd2 has a house:j been sleeping in our conservatory since splitting from her partner and is nearly 8 months pregnant , she signed contract this morning and her lovely landlady said she can have the keys as soon as she receives it to get herself organised, not supposed to have them until the end of month. also said there is a really nice pram and car seat in the loft she can have
such a nice lady said its her house and can do what she likes they are not even going to check the house...

really pleased i found it for her as i upset our local letting agency they were horrible to her when we looked at a house said snootily she was a single unemployed mum so needed a guarantor, when i said she works and is on maternity leave and is going back after baby is born she said she will end up on the dole like all these young girls, i may have told them to stuff there houses and that she had no right to look down her nose at dd2 as she put herself through uni working 2 jobs and no loans and has worked since she was 13 and not her fault her partner of 3 years did the dirty on her.

only thought after wards was a bit hasty as only letting agency in area and dd2 needed a house but alls well that ends well:D

This is your ultimate good deed of the year never mind the day!

You can now get her started on the baby freebies list as she has a new address so she can get lots of nice post :D

  • Good morning folks! Did my first glitchy shop in months! No razors and no Pilgrims choice in my asda so did a choclote shop. Got £6.31 back on a £16.22 shop, mucked up by 50p ish on bleach and picked up S&G deoderant as I thought it was still a goer, but still not too shabby!

Is one of the scents in the S&G deo still a goer at 20p?

    Thanks Folks xx

  • Morning Elite, I won't say "good" :( Atrocious weather out there.

Well, DD is finally moving out, flat share with her boyfriend and another friend. It would appear that a portion of my stash is moving out with her, but there we go. Will be giving her a few bits that I have built up over the years for this purpose too.

I might have slightly more sympathy with financial matters if a £700 47 inch smart 3D TV was not top of their list :eek:

I suspect they are going to have a bit of a shock when they find out what they need, although I am being dragged out to help them with their first shop, have to educate them in the science of shopping properly!
