I would ring them and ask if you can submit papers and have them checked, then swear at the same visit. I'd think from your circumstances your application is straightforward (no other beneficiaries etc) so shouldn't need any in depth checks.

If that's possible then that might be better for you if. You can get it all done in one go and no more fretting about it and putting things off. You can always make a day of it if you're having to travel so far. Go somewhere nice for lunch.....hit the shops :)

Bless you, I know it's not been easy for you
I have a nice glass of wine here too........so here's to your dear mum :A

    Thanks you claire. :A

You have confused me there though, do I not send off all the forms, death cert, will and probate fee or is that too risky. :o

Obviously I was thinking of sending special delivery.

 everyone, it is a huge weight off my shoulders to finally finish them. I was not going pay a solicitor any of my inheritance I am far too :money: for that. ;)
  • Quick question on the APG. My printer at home is out of ink so I have been checking and printing at work.

If I check a receipt now can I then re-do it on Monday at work to print the voucher or do I need to print the voucher here and now?

Flo... I haven't looked at these gift sets2 for £8

Do they look "worth it" if you know what I mean?

We get them for £6.40 for the two?

    I know I'm butting in again:D.
No, not worth it in my view.
Waiting for half prices elsewhere. Although it looks like it worked, it's giving only a pound more on the APG (but then you spending a pound to add the trigger item, which itself gives no refund vs elsewhere - as buying two items, but APG only shows one, need to offset 'loss' from the other if it would have been half price elsewhere - but then again I'd only be buying if items, the non-trigger certainly, were half price elsewhere). Would have been much better if T were £3 on the comparing item.

Also the Guylian Seashells not even worth it in my view* (although I know a lot have been getting them) - just 250g a pack (rather small in my view) and not highest A price it could have been. I'm waiting for a price increase on larger items in the offer and half prices (or better) elsewhere. May be waiting forever...or it may arrive.

So too the biscuit tins in my view. Very expensive when packets of biscuits on offer are far cheaper. If you already have a tin from earlier, why not reuse it???:rotfl:(Perhaps I could use my tin from the 75p net. Vinnie biscuits from last year.) Fill with contents of biscuit packet - no-one will ever know!

I was thinking about whether the tins or larger packs are worth it, when looking at a large pack of branded Xmas biscuits in M - 800g for £3 I think. But then I thought 200g packs often go on 50p, and then 10% off, so it's way more expensive than 4 packs of those, or the "buy 1 for £1.89** or any 3 for 35p" on the glitched price biscuits in T recently. In the light of that ---- it's considered, and I have taken some of the M prices and sizes down, but I'm thinking perhaps not v good? The product inside the tins is the same whether you buy in it a tin or in an offer-price packet of biscuits.

*Even after the trigger and full price comparison on the 2 Guylians.
    **(or whatever the price was)

    Hi

No you can print it whenever, I do this also as my printer is rubbish, or I go to the local library and print mine.

    Feel hungry for chocolate now!

Did you bake this yourself? (Catching up so now know that you did bake that beauty yourself)
If so why is it not risen in the middle like mine always are? Not that I bake often!
