I just called the bank and asked how much T had helped themselves too. They have taken £27.82 for 4 dinner sets and 2 bread bins. Just waiting for it too turn up between 8-9. Don't know whether to accept and call T up.
It was only meant to be just over £6.
see if you can quibble the price.. we had 4 sets..2 had been substituted and pricematched.. 2 purple had been charge at £9 each..which sounds like what urs has been charged at.. we went to CS and they DTD it.. nice profit from the platesets! :-)0 -

Any voucher I print off the internet and present to a supermarket these days takes about an hour to check and then I get refused. I've given up on them now.
Pick the option that says you don't have printer when you go to print it. They take your address and send it through the post. its printed on fancy paper and the stores seem to like themThriftygifty wrote: »My mum just says GLITCH whilst in the middle of the store and says oooooo I'm like SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH. She's in training! Although the training went alittle off course when the cashpoint was giving out dove vouchers mum came back with an impulse spray it's not even made by the same company and a totally different ml?! Mum went though the checkout with just that so it's not like the staff didnt notice they just couldnt be bothered. She rang me all proud, she felt bad when I said it's the wrong product :rotfl:. Like I said in training!
Oh I couldn't stand it anymore  well done yours for trying by herself thoughShortfatscotsbloke wrote: »Think it must be a Scottish thing nanababe. Both my parents will talk to anyone, anywhere and these days it is mostly always about their amazing grandkids (who obviously take after me in many, many ways!!:p).
I'm sure I used to do it too before I moved south of Watford and got Englified. Down here if you say good morning to anyone whilst out walking the dog or sitting on a train, you get the strangest looks.
Having said all that though, it might just be an OAP thing and everything they do just embarrasses us youngsters..:D:D
Well I must have been the milk mans and only half scots ! I am very social able but she is like me on high performance medicines :rotfl:
Tiger - Ill send her down for training if you like :T
On a serious note MHOC sending all the hugs you can handle :A0 -

A new thread and already 20 pages - is there a big glitch on, not shopped properly in over a week so no hope of ever catching up.
my week was dreadful so I need virtual hugs if anyone has spares
Eldest child has worked frantically for weeks for interviews for a new work placement - 2 days notice to do a presentation, group interview and then a trip to London. Then she got an email from her boss, all new work placements canceled - she is devastated. It would have meant an extra £4 grand a year and they could have started saving to get married and a house deposit
Eldest son went off on his tour on Thursday, 6 months without leave, very miserable to see him go but at least he seems to have good wi fi so we have skyped. Counting the days already.
Worst of all my Dad went into hospital for a weeks investigation, he looked so much better this week, fully awake, eye contact, listening, taking notice and taking part in conversations onWednesday and Thursday. But On Sunday morning he had his porridge and pills and then his breathing changed and he just slipped away before any of us could reach the hospital. So we have a funeral to go to on Tuesday.
Anyway I am trying to regain something like normality, eldest daughter was home for a few days, youngest son home this weekend so at least we have not been on our own.
Sleep seems to the hardest thing to tackle at the moment.
next week will be better I hope.
Thinking of you mhoc :A0 -
