A new thread and already 20 pages - is there a big glitch on, not shopped properly in over a week so no hope of ever catching up.

my week was dreadful so I need virtual hugs if anyone has spares :)

Eldest child has worked frantically for weeks for interviews for a new work placement - 2 days notice to do a presentation, group interview and then a trip to London. Then she got an email from her boss, all new work placements canceled - she is devastated. It would have meant an extra £4 grand a year and they could have started saving to get married and a house deposit :(

Eldest son went off on his tour on Thursday, 6 months without leave, very miserable to see him go but at least he seems to have good wi fi so we have skyped. Counting the days already.

Worst of all my Dad went into hospital for a weeks investigation, he looked so much better this week, fully awake, eye contact, listening, taking notice and taking part in conversations onWednesday and Thursday. But On Sunday morning he had his porridge and pills and then his breathing changed and he just slipped away before any of us could reach the hospital. So we have a funeral to go to on Tuesday.

Anyway I am trying to regain something like normality, eldest daughter was home for a few days, youngest son home this weekend so at least we have not been on our own.

Sleep seems to the hardest thing to tackle at the moment.

next week will be better I hope.

Bless you mhoc, what a lot you've had to deal with this week...so sorry to hear about your dad :(

Does the £3 for the quidco coke show already on your account. I cant see it on mine

God, trying to work out my T shop is frustrating. From the discounts shown on my receipt totalling £26.40, that includes £17 new cust, £2.40 in online codes for toothpaste, yogurts etc and the £7 toothbrush code. That means my £3 coke WASN'T taken off. I'll email Q.
The upshot is that my shopping total of £38.52 will become £4.52. (£25 refund, £6 quidco new customer and £3 coke cb). Crikey, I've got 4 packs of nappies in there!! :j
