I am sure she got a lot of enjoyment out of the trampolining and I very much doubt that she blames you
Actually if she had not put her arm out, the move she was doing could very well have broken her neck. :eek: She had not learnt the ability like DD2 to bounce and roll out of moves going wrong.
It is a very dangerous sport and I have seen over the years some pretty nasty accidents at national competitions. I had no idea what I was letting my girls in for having not competed in the sport myself.
Our men's national champion from last year broke both his arms at same time when he was younger. It is a saying you are never a true trampolinist until you break a bone. :eek: Though luckily DD2 never did (well at least not on trampoline). And she is retired from the sport now.
I wish people would realise how much force there is when they let their children play on them, I shudder when I see more than one at a time on those garden trampolines. :eek:0 -
