fingers crossed the scan in November will bring good news
Thanks FC, so do I, hoping another month and it will be healing well by itself.
I feel so guilty I was the one who encouraged the trampolining. My beautiful young lady now has scars on her arm, the scar mostly on show is nasty, thick and red and the other side though longer scar is fading well but will need to be reopened if bone graft needed. And I'm not sure if she needs another op how this will affect her very much hands on hair and makeup course.0 -
has anybody received the gloves from hotter yet
I have logged in to hotter but cant find my order in my account even though I have a confirmation email for the sale and confirmation of payment0 -

Ahh TS you shouldn't feel guilty. We all encourage our kids to do activities that have the potential to cause injury. She has just been very unlucky. Im sure she doesn't regret taking the sport up and must have enjoyed it a lot to reach the level she did. Don't feel bad. Hugs :A0 -
Thanks Enterprise, news from hospital not so good.
The bone has started to show signs of healing but they want to see how well from a CT scan now booked for november. She may need a bone graft.
The radius is healing well so that is good news, but even though the ulna has started to show signs on xray it may not be sufficient for a complete mend. I really wish I had not encouraged the sport so much now.
I'm a great believer in things happening for a reason, this accident might have meant she didn't break her neck the following week. At least they can fix it - imagine if this had happened a hundred years ago :eek:
I am sure she got a lot of enjoyment out of the trampolining and I very much doubt that she blames youWhat is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0 -
