Might be the only way. I have the iphone 4 and happily use the msl app so you have the right phone.
Try plugging into lappy and see how it goes. Not sure if you can choose update type though.

Thankyou VT. I plugged into laptop and nothing happened. Also nothing showing in settings etc like my ds had in his for the update. Just really want msl but need to update first but don't know how to do it x
