Love my kindle, it's the original one so doesn't light up, always wondered whether that gives you eye strain?i guess no more than trying to read the kindle in poor lighting?
I have a Kindle Paperlight and love it. I read it in bed with the house light off and no eyestrain can read with no trouble0 -

Morning all.
Can I please ask a techie question. Just bought iPhone 4 off a friend so I can do msl but I've tried to download app and it says I need iOS 5 or above and when I click to update it says can't connect to iTunes store. I've successfully downloaded other apps but msl is the reason I bought the phone. Can't see in settings where to update and been advised not to get iOS 7. Please can anyone help I'm so disappointed I can't get the app. Tia x
Looks like your friend has not updated in a long time. Unfortunately I am not sure if you can just update to ios5 I think you might have to bite the bullet and go for ios7. I update via the laptop so I can save photos at the same time.
Might be the only way. I have the iphone 4 and happily use the msl app so you have the right phone.
Try plugging into lappy and see how it goes. Not sure if you can choose update type though.

I have been known to fall asleep before now  :rotfl::rotfl:
Radiator in her living room wont turn off
Mum lives in over 55's sheltered accommodation and the flats heating is turned on by the warden. I have known heating to be on during an heatwave. I am sure half the time oldies are ill in these type of flats because heating on and they getting no fresh air.
My late MIL sheltered accommodation was exactly the same boiling all the time. You could only spend about half an hour there as you would feel so ill. The heating was included in the rent. So it was always so hot. It cannot be good for the elderly to be soo very hot.0 -

Also managed to pick up some lime green lunch sacks for 50p for when DS2 starts school in January :j
They fold down into a purse shape so he's running around the house with what looks like a lime green purse in his hand :rotfl:
