    Well, unsurprisingly I haven't received a call from the ebuyer manager so it's time to write a letter threatening legal action before I start proceedings. Any suggestions on where there are decent letter templates for this type of situation?

    By the way, thank you for the various replies, they have been really helpful

    Don't see where you think you have a case, you sent them a smashed TV, do you think they are stupid?

    No advice on here has been any good to you, just because the fullfilled their legal obligation and paid for your the uplift doesn't mean they are liable for the smashed tv.

    As far as they are concerened they have received a tv back that is not as you described it.
