Why do people ask dumb questions on internet message boards?

I'm sure if the TV was £2 more expensive from a local shop that included delivery then most people would.
However it is often the case that internet shopping doesn't work out like that.
Try it and see.

I used a sturdy box which I then placed the TV in. The TV itself was wrapped in plastic and then paper and also a thick packaging blanket which I had recently received from the delivery of another item. The TV was well packaged, looking at the damage it must have been thrown on the floor by the courier to cause such damage.0

Comparing some of the "legit" internet sites with places such as Tesco, Sainsburys, Currys, John Lewis etc, the savings are not much, and if there are any problems you just take it back and they change it.

ebuyer ( NOT ebay) is very much a "legit" site. they are a huge electrial retailer who have been around for a very long (in internet terms) time.0 -

In any case, consumers have more legal protection (DSR) when buying online than they do in the high street."There may be a legal obligation to obey, but there will be no moral obligation to obey.
