Expedia

I bought my BA flight ticket back in January for the flight that was in July. It was flight only, for me and my family, return ticket. When we went to airport to check in, we were told that out plain has gone 2 hours ago from the different terminal. BA claims that they have informed the Expedia ( I bought ticket from them). Expedia failed to inform me and it resulted that I've lost over £1000. (next day single ticket to the nearest destination, lost 3 days of already paid holiday etc) Expedia claim that they couldn't reach me on my phone and that they've send me an email which I've never received. When I've asked for the copy of the mail, they promised to send but never did. They ignoring ma letters and I guess, the Court is the only option. Has any of you had a similar experience that I can use? Thanks

Did you pay by credit card? If so you probably have a claim off them. But yes Expedia are the culprits and you will probably need to take legal action if they don't respond to NBAs etc.
However this forum is for delays/cancellations/denied boardings by airlines.

You could try issuing a SAR on expedia, this would reveal when where and how they tried to contact you.
Companies and airlines are hopeless at this as I find out from BA/Avios, fortunately in plenty of time.
I suppose you could argue a denied boarding case as the aircraft left without you, having turned up in good time as originally direceted.
