How long does it take to get a reply from the CAA

I sent them a letter regarding a claim against TUI (delay on flight back from Bodrum Turkey over 3 hours in Sept 2009) but that was in April. I have had an acknowledgement but cannot get more that the standard we are looking into a lot of cases but our reply would be slower than we would like. I realise it will be instant but nearly 6 months is a very long time:(

Forget it. You wasted a stamp. CAA in 99% of cases will do nothing.

I did think as much in which case I will try MCOL.

Only trouble is on MCOL it says "full name (including title) of the person(s) you wish to make a claim against" would this be the Company Secretary which is who I wrote to last for Thomson Airways (all so confusing and scary)

You need to issue against the limited company, Thomson Airways Limited at this address:-

Next month will be a year for me I am in court in a few weeks time .
