Worst case, if they won't cancel your new contract, then sell the Q10 as BNIB - you might get £500 for it. Take that from your total outlay and you're left with £530, rather than £860, so it's not as bad as might have been feared.

thanks for the replies folks, it seems nobody knows for certain what will happen, it looks like im going to have to take the plunge and call Three and speek to someone in Mumbai who cant speak proper english.

Sorry i forgot to mention my initial contract is with three and i was calling them to see what they could offer me.
