Yes, when we went on our last nudist holiday , I just don't understand all the complaints about me and the missus sitting in the buff in our "extra leg room seats.0

Me and my partner are laughing at this :rotfl: it has to be a wind up!!
We have 4 kids (now teenagers) and take them on holiday every year. We are also lucky enough to holiday alone as a couple once or twice a year. And we do steer clear of kids if we can! I'm a primary school teacher as well so am surrounded by kids wherever I turn!
Our answer is we take our lovely portable blu ray DVD player, 2 pairs of noise reducing headphones and a couple of decent films or some BBC comedy and we can't hear a thing - bliss!0 -
I recently booked to go on a " miserable old !!!!!!!s holiday".
Yet, in the plane were people who were loud.
Oh, was that you?0 -
We booked an adult only holiday and had expected to be seated with like minded passengers on our flights. This was not the case and on the outbound flight we had the family from hell with young children in front of us, with parents doing nothing to try and quieten them down. We know there were at least 30 other passengers staying at the same hotel and on the same flight of us, so something to be done was possible. The return flight was better but not perfect, surely there is a case if you book an adult only holiday that a section of the aircraft could be reserved for adults If this is not the case the should not you be advised at the time of booking as the I think The trade description of Adult Only holiday should include the seating on the aircraft.
I tried to erect a portable beach windbreak to protect myself and the other wrinkles against baseball hat glare, and aftershave overload.0 -
If there was such a thing as an adults only plane I think it would be a success. The thought of being on a plane without screaming babies and kids running riot. Bliss. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

A commercial success?
If the LCCs thought it viable, one of them would do it but price pretty much drives everything and an adults only flight would cost more.Change is inevitable, except from a vending machine.0 -

Would you be prepared to pay a premium for an adult-only flight though?
I'd prefer not to be sat close to kids, but it doesn't bother me that much unless they are kicking the back of my seat but I certainly wouldn't extra for the privilege.
It's been discussed before:

I'd prefer not to sit next to grumpy people (not you Pollycat!) or those who get up every 30 minutes, or those who snore, or those who recline for the entire flight.
And so would my extremely well behaved on flights 9 yr old and 7 yr old.
Who made hogs and dogs and frogs?

Sorry, I should have said unruly kids.
I actually don't mind kids and once spent a very entertaining flight sat next to a very polite and obviously well-read young lad who told me all about his interest in astronomy with amazingly infectious enthusiasm.
On the other side of the coin, I had a nightmare 11 hour journey where the parents behind allowed their toddler to bounce up and down on the tray table attached to the back of my seat.
I just put up with it, but as we were disembarking, the couple sat behind the parents commented on how well behaved the child was (admittedly, she didn't cry at all) and I just said 'pity you weren't sat in my seat, she bounced all the way home on the back of my seat'.
Don't know if the parents took my comments on board.

I tend to find that adults behave much worse on an aircraft than children.0
