No £5 reward from Halifax since July?

When did you put the DDs on the account as if it was after May this year then Reward accounts without meeting the new criteria were downgraded to a current account. If you only set your direct debits up to come in May then you would need to upgrade your account back. Does it say it is a Reward account when you log online? Also do you use their overdraft as you forfeit the £5 reward if you go overdrawn.

I'd check with the bank if you are still fitting the criteria, if it is a genuine mistake the bank will refund you if you're out of pocket.

I have all my house hold DD coming out of the joint account. The reason after calling is that we had used the over draft. Less than £2 on these months and only for 1-2 days on both occasions which is annoying but explains it.

I wasn't aware if the new rules but guess I now know for the future.
