my friend used to drive an alpha romeo similar to that (hatchback). it was a 3.2 though I think it was a 1.8.
The problem is they're not exactly reliable (not bad either), they're just bod standard in terms of reliabiltiy and there aren't many alpha romeo specialists around so if you have problems it's often a main dealer job, so expensive.0
