Fire Safety Update

Anyway, I have contacted the local fire authority and asked them to phone the shop and tell them that it is a breach of fire regulations and to shift the car. Hopefully, somebody with a bit of authority will do the job. I'll let you know if it works.
They should take some sort of action within two hours. This may involve a fire safety officer visiting the premises. Or if they are not available it will either be a fire officer, or a fire engine complete with crew. Whoever does pay them a visit, they will make sure the car is moved. And if they spot it blocking the fire exit again, then action could be taken against the shop.0

I have no interest in saying the world is against me. I just think some of the comments about me are quite funny. Even the OP likes the original one from our friendly apologist
I think most of your posts on this thread are a massive wind-up. You dropped a clanger in the first instance and when you saw what people thought of you you decided to keep posting the most over the top stuff you could think of.
Do I get a line in your sig? :cool:0

Are you not actually reading this thread? They've already posted the response!0

I don't want the shop prosecuted or some other heavy-handed action. I just want the car shifted.
They won't prosecute unless they the continue to block the exit, after being warned. However if they have a fire in the mean time, and the exit is blocked, then they will prosecute.0

Somebody obviously did visit as I got an email picture of a clear fire exit.
I found the sociopath comment funny because it was such an extreme thing to say. JR clearly has a sense of humour to add it as his tagline. I think it stands better on its own, JR.Je suis sabot...0

Hey, stop trying to deny me my little bit of fame. There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0 There are two types of people in the world: Those that can extrapolate information.0

            Yes
However read the thread this has already been debated extensively. The consenus is that I am a terrible person. Unpleasant Sociopath has been mentioned.
So if someone saw you trapped in your flat, with a fire down below blocking your escape route. How would you feel if they just ignored you and thought 'nothing to do with me'??0

I believe the phrase that is relevant here is "actions speak louder than words"
The comment was not deleted by the poster (would take 5 seconds to edit it out of his post) so its still out there in the "public domain". Therefore it is clearly not underhand to use it as my sig.
Will you please stop your off topic whinging!!!0

To be honest in this scenario I don't really think there is much that person could do!
I think both the spectator and myself would exchange eye contact and nod as we both knew that my demise is pretty much guaranteed.
On a more serious note you appear to be confusing my indifference to a minor violation of Health and Safety regulations with the actual occurence of a serious incident.0

You really want to read the thread. This has all been covered. You're going over old ground. We've all accepted I'm a terrible person!
I address each post as I come to them. So I apologise if I repeat what other people have said. But then some people need things to be repeated in order to take it in.
I notice you didn't reply to the first answer though.0
