Spare IPhone charger

Hello
I recently upgraded to iphone5s and I like to have a spare charger at work so I don't run out when travelling
I ordered one online (eBay where I got my last one) and it says it's not compatible

Can anyone recommend where I can get one that works?!

Charger or cable?

The chargers are usually just USB power supplies, but the newest IOS7 locks out the first generation of clone cables that don't have all the authentication chips defeated in the cable.

The newer ones should be fine, search ebay for supahut I bought some working cable last week after mine were rejected after the IOS 7 upgrade. Item 261269107364 at the time of writing but they may change if they relist them later. They did have 1m ones but seem to have sold out

Just USB cable I made sure I got one suitable fir 5s but says not compatible
Will try that one though thanks
I know apple ones are best but only for emergencies

Check the ones that say IOS7 compatible, not just 5S

Your clone cable will still work with a IOS6 device if you know of anyone not upgrading.

I would only buy a genuine Apple charger from Apple themselves. BBC's Watchdog covered a huge number of fake chargers being confiscated by trading standards after reports of exploding fake iPhone chargers. The fakes were found in high street stores by the sack full.

You can trade in your fake with Apple until 18th October and obtain a genuine one for half price (about £7)
