You are getting the best advice here to let this go, all your replies indicate that this sad event has affected you to almost the point of obsession.

I have had dogs and cats for many years and I have never anthropomorphised any of them: they are not another version of human, no matter how fond we become of them, they remain animals. I have trained dogs in the army and I have done the same with all the dogs I ever had. I have lost dogs and been upset to the point of tears with each loss, but I now recall every one of them with a smile because they were all individuals but they were animals. Notice I do not say "Only" animals.

Perhaps the fact that I am a Country dweller makes the difference in our attitudes, I am realistic about dog ownership. Too many people in this country treat their dogs as if they are another species of human. They are not. Let this go, for your own health and remember your little companion as he was.

I will not respond to any comment you make about my post, you really need to move on and take comfort in the pets you have.
I think this job really needs
    a much bigger hammer.

This - you really need to let it go for the sake of your mental health and that of your family.

It is sad that your dog died, but you're not going to get her back by throwing money away on a fruitless crusade.

If you're really that much of an animal lover why not get a rescue dog from one of the charities (or even just make a donation to them if you can't face another dog), rather than lining the pockets of forensic vets and solicitors.
The words "move on" and get over it"is what everybody is saying. So in the way everyone who is posting on this side should forget the wrongdoings that had happened to them? Move on forget it so why are they posting here to ask how to deal with the wrongdoings that happened to them? As for the remedy in the way of giving money to the dog charity yes I am already doing that(done it for years) I give money to the dogs being trained for the blind people that is one charity I believe in. Did you know that Dog Trust has over 70 million of unused funds? They pay top staff over 200,000 per year to the big bosses like Christopher
Lawrence the vet. Well I am not contributing to their fund.

Do you have a link to your "facts" about the dogs trust?

Also, you keep going on about this "wrongdoing", and no matter how anyone ever explains it to you, you're not prepared to accept it as anything else. Even when professionals tell you, you ignore them or tell them they don't know what they are on about.

You need help, and not from a solicitor, lawyer or vet.
    1. Have you tried to Google the answer?
    2. If you were in the other person's shoes, how would you react?
    3. Do you want a quick answer or better understanding?

As you say, lots of people come on this site for advice on "wrongdoings" against them (the majority finance or consumer related as this is the topic of the forum) - a lot of them are told that they have a good case and are then advised on what action they should take. Others are told that they are being unreasonable in what they expect to happen or don't have a case.

You are solidly in the latter category - you have been told repeatedly by a number of people that you are not going to get the resolution that you want (I'm not even really sure what it is you want - is it financial compensation or are you looking to get the vet sacked or jailed?) and that with the mindset you appear to be in you are likely to end up bankrupting yourself with legal fees or having a breakdown.

Justice for Maxie is all I want. I may loose a lot of money but if I hear my vet saying she did wrong I will forgive her and move on that will be the end of my case. That is all it takes.

Yes I do have facts about Dogs Trust . I think Mr Lawrence may remember me. He is lucky I did not go to media.
