I think we might be a little way off from the consoles adopting a successful download model, but Steam has proven that if the price is right then people will go crazy on the downloads. Steam sales are just insane!0 -
I can believe it happening. It will be the end for a lot of shops though which is a sad thing but that is the way things are going now. Until it happens I will be getting all my games in the case and on a disc! Better way of doing things.0

Lets be honest, most of them are already gone or are on their !!!! already. All I can think of are Game and HMV and they've only just avoided liquidation in recent times. We can thank Supermarkets and Amazon for that one. The digital era is fast approachingKnowledge is a tool, and like all tools, its impact is in the hands of the user.0

There is a good thing about it and a bad thing. How will we trade in our games now? It's not as if there is going to be a shop online that you can trade in your downloaded games.0

royal mail workers are striking on 4th november. the day before cod comes out. so anyone who preordered online may not get their copy on time now. hopefully the retailers will make a good decision and send them out a bit earlier.0

Typical Royal Mail. Does anybody know why they are striking? Glad I didn't order mine online. Hopefully the retailers will sort this out and release them earlier but I think there will be a few people who get affected.0

I preordered with Tesco when it was £35 - got some cashback via quidco and most importantly got 1000 clubcard points (Which are worth £10 (or £20 with double up) to spend in Tesco, or up to £30 spent elsewhere.
Think I got a brilliant deal!Weight loss challenge, lose 15lb in 6 weeks before Christmas.0 -
