yeah, it must have. the price i got must have just been for those who preorder early.
  • If you pre order with Amazon and you get it for £35 then it can not change which is the good thing. I am dissapointed to find that it is £40 at Asda. I have got one put to one side for me but as every one has said, that's not the problem for games.

i think asda will reduce the price on the day of release. all supermarkets wait until the last minute to set their price. it usually only stays at that price for about a week though and if they sell out quickly it can be a problem for some. that is why for the last few years i went at midnight.

I hope you're right! £40 isn't that bad but obviously I want to get it cheaper. Knowing that Amazon are doing it for £35 aswell!
  • The cheapest I have seen is for £32.15 at this store:

But this looks like it is download only, and I have not used the store before so don't know how good it is. But is for the purchase of a steam code to download it on steam so i cant see how it could go wrong. (and I think it is cheaper than buying it straight from Steam).

if they follow the usual pattern it will be cheaper at tesco and sainsburys. however there is a catch that has been mentioned here. tescos will require you to buy xbox live or psn credit and sainsburys will require you to buy 30 or 40 pounds worth of shopping. i would expect it to be between £33 and £38 in asda without any catch.

That is good enough for me!

I would never just download the game because then you could never sell it. At least having the game in a hard copy you can sell it if you don't like the game or get bored of it in a few years.

I would say the future of games is downloading tbh. PC already do it with Steam etc, and that's the way the XBone was trying to force people into. I predict this will be the last disc based generation (you heard it here first lol)
