  • That's excellent, thank you.
I am just copying this into word and making sure it isn't jumbled and will type it up again if needs be.

The first bit where it says a car park attendant is a awkward one, as this car park isn't manned or a pay and display. It is for use of the health centre only. This guy was obviously someone who goes around car parks to catch people out and I pulled in to see what parking was available there and saw him photographing a car, now that should have planted a seed but I was too busy bothering about being late and not being able to walk too far. He obviously was there just because a car was and he was earning his Wonga and got lucky. I have been back since and there is never anyone there. So rather than attendant , what could I say he was? (well I can think of a few choice words but non I could use)

Phew this is nearly over, for good I hope.

I understood from the first line of your opening post on this thread that UKCPS said you hadn't paid for a ticket and it was a Pay & Display car park.

Can you quickly confirm that it was a FREE car park as I can adjust that second appeal point which I have phrased on the basis that it was a P&D.

If it was a free car park and you didn't overstay any prescribed time limit, what are UKCPS pursuing you for? What do the signs say?

    Let us know please ASAP.

In terms of whether this guy was a parking attendant/warden whatever doesn't matter, he was representing UKCPS advising you (and taking pictures) so don't let that side-track things.

Would you say "where I was parked"? Would it not be better as "where the driver was parked"?

It was a permit holders car park not a pay and display. The actual wording is below, if that helps.
Warning. Private land contractual agreement. This land is strictly for the parking of vehicle motors that comply with the following conditions as indicated below. Permit holders only. Valid permit to be displayed in the windscreen in full view. If you park a vehicle on this land and are not listed in the category above you are contractually agreeing to the following which must be enforced at all times disabled badge holders and motor cycles are not exempt. A parking charge of £100 discounted to £60 if paid within 14 days which may be issued to your vehicle through the postal service failure to pay may lead to court actionwhich will incur additional costs. The contractual agreement is made with UKCPS do not park here unless you agree to the contractual agreement above.

This site may be monitored by camera technology and or foot patrols for the purpose of ensuring compliance with the above terms and conditions of the car park. We may apply to the DVLA for vehicle keeper details.

@billybumble, hold tight on this until we come back to you. DO NOT send the POPLA appeal in until we've given this a bit more thought.

Just upload your photos to somewhere like tinypic or photobucket, then put the links here in a post. (Remove the http:// part if the forum complains about you posting links).

It's important to get the photos up on here, so you will have to upload them for a number of us to look at and assess them. As it was 'permit only' the signage becomes much more urgent.

Here are the instructions or uploading images.

Coupon did ask previously were there any signs at the entrance to the car park do you have photos of the entrance?
