I'd only send the photo of the entrance, leave the others out as it's difficult to establish precisely where the others are and are likely to confuse POPLA. The entrance one is the most significant and proves unequivocally that the requirements of the CoP have not been met and is the one you are relying on in appeal point 1. I think the others WILL get in the way of things - so don't send them.
You can do both - online and, as a back up, via snail mail (get a free proof of posting from your PO). Make sure in your paper version you have your 10-digit code on each page and staple everything together with the top page being the POPLA appeal sheet.
Go for itPlease note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

Ah. Are you sure?
What about the one where I was directed to park, where no signs at all on the wall and the one that shows how high one of the signs is?0 -
I agree about the entrance sign. It is the most important and the others will just confuse the issue (in my view).
You have to understand that the POPLA assessors are snowed under and you need to make it as easy as possible for them to rule in your favour. If the ruling is going to turn on the photos, it will be the entrance one that swings it (though they will probably end up going for GPEOL in the end anyway!)
Get it sent - you have enough on your plate at the moment, and that is as good a POPLA appeal as you are going to get - you've had MSE's finest minds working on it.
Just press the button.
D xI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

A 'genuine pre-estimate of loss" is not the usual killer blow in this case. The sign is not claiming liquidated damages for breach of contract.
You may be right Nigel, but all this too and fro is likely to drive BB round the twist.
C-M has offered up a decent appeal that, hopefully, BB will send. Best not to raise any other doubts for her to fret over as it has taken a fair bit to get this far.0 -
Yep - I also think GPEOL won't win the day in this appeal but I bunged it in anyway! We have enough other things in it - that NTK wording alone will kill it!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I still haven't got this off. It may be easier to do via the internet. I am not sure there is much difference in which way to go about it. Just that it's probably quicker.
The reason I thought about including other photos is that where he has taken a picture of my car. You can clearly see those two signs in the background. He chose a prime position and possibly the only one that allowed him to do that to full effect. I am thinking POPLA will just look at that and say it was clear the signs were in view and that I am swinging the lead. Obviously though I will take your advice, as you are more used to dealing with these appeals than I am.0 -
If you're determined to send another photo, send the one where you were shown to park, which did not have any signs on show. There's no need to send any of the others. So don't hesitate now, get it away and off your mind. Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. Flog me now!
All your hard work. I only do the appeal and put in the wrong PCN number. The rest was okay. So I called to see if there is anything they can do and she said to fill in the application form and scan it. I wasn't sure what she meant and I don't have a scanner and she said it was an application form that UKCPS should have sent me. I didn't get anything like that, just the code.
I was advised to contact UKCPS for an application form and to email and explain and sent my appeal as an email but that they may not except it.
I come across as a real dim wit but I am just not focused. I'm all over the shop. Simplest things are like marathon tasks. I am sorry if I let you guys down. I followed everything to the letter and missed two digits of a number.:mad:0 -
Get yourself to a printer and send it snail mail, with free proof of posting from PO. But answer question below first.
When you say the 'wrong PCN Number' do you mean the reference number of the parking charge notice (UKCPS's own reference number) or do you mean the POPLA verification code? Please note, we are not a legal advice forum.
