I've never had a credit card/loan/mortgage etc but o2 gave me a contract without any problems. Are you sure they checked the right person?

Three probably the easiest mobile contract company that you can apply. I apply straight away when my 18th birthday and got approved without a problem. I heard that even you have credit problem you need to pay them 150 pounds deposit. Are you sure that you applying from high street? Usually, people need to go high street to apply mobile contract if that is their first time apply contract especially those people without any credit record.

depends on various factors, how long you have been at the address is quite important aswell as being on the electoral roll...
